School Allowed to Expel Lesbian Students



California Lutheran High School Did Not Violate Discrimination Laws

Read this post from Christocentric about the case of two high school girls who sued their high school to contest their expulsion. The private school expelled the girls for “a bond of intimacy” that was “characteristic of a lesbian relationship” reports the Los Angeles Times. Of course, this would never fly in the public school setting, but it is nice to see that religious organizations still have the right to define what is sin within their own private setting.

    This is good news! It is crucial that the right to free expression of religion be upheld.
